Welcome to Trends Rugs. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, purchasing from our online store, and interactions with our services. By accessing our site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.
1. Business Information
Trends Rugs is operated by Trends Rugs The Trustee for JATZ Family Trust, trading as Trends Rugs.

We are an Australian-owned and operated business.
2. Shipping & Delivery
We ship Australia-wide (excluding the Northern Territory). Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Delivery takes between 2–10 business days, depending on your location.
Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled. Orders are delivered via third-party couriers to your door, front entrance, mailbox, or ground floor only. Drivers are not permitted to enter your premises.
We currently ship to:
VIC, NSW, QLD, SA, WA, TAS, and ACT.
If you are located in the Northern Territory, please contact us for a custom shipping quote.
3. Returns & Exchanges

Online Purchases
- Change of mind: Return within 7 days of delivery for refund or store credit.
- Non-returnable: Custom rugs, hall runners, altered, used or damaged rugs.
- Fees: A 20% restocking fee applies. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense.
- Afterpay refunds: A 10% non-refundable fee is deducted from your refund.
- Faulty items: Full refunds or exchanges apply for faulty, incorrect or misrepresented products.
In-Store Purchases
- Change of mind: Return within 3 days for refund or 7 days for exchange.
- Must be returned to the original store with proof of purchase.
- Non-returnable: Clearance items, custom orders, used/damaged rugs.
- Afterpay refunds: A 10% non-refundable fee applies.
Trends Rugs reserves the right to inspect and assess all returned items before issuing a refund or exchange.
4. Customer Orders
Customer orders (including special and custom orders) cannot be cancelled and are non-returnable. Uncollected items after 4 weeks may result in deposit forfeiture.
5. Payment Options
We accept a range of secure payment methods:

- Apple Pay, Google Pay, Facebook Pay, Amazon Pay
6. Promotions & Discount Codes
We may offer promotional discounts, sales, and limited-time offers. Discount codes must be entered at checkout and cannot be applied retroactively. Promotions are subject to change or cancellation without notice.
7. Accounts & Guest Checkout
Customers may create an account to manage their orders or checkout as a guest. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.

All content on this website—including product descriptions, graphics, images, and logos—is the property of Trends Rugs and protected under copyright law. You may not reproduce, duplicate, or exploit any part of the website without express written permission.
9. Third-Party Services
We use trusted platforms such as Shopify, PayPal, and Afterpay to process orders and payments. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
10. Liability Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trends Rugs is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this website, or from delays, delivery failures, or other issues caused by external service providers.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not excluded or limited by these Terms.
